Pep Guardiola made a bold statement to start
life as manager of Manchester City, telling fans
to "fasten their seatbelts” - just like he did
supporters of Barcelona, but this time “on the
other side of the car”.
He went on to win 14 trophies in four years
including two Champions League titles, but gave
no guarantees what he can achieve at City,
instead saying he wants to try and prove you can
play beautiful football and be successful in
England.
