Enugu needs no other party

Enugu State chapter of the Peoples Democratic
Party, PDP, has declared that the people of the
state has no need for another political party,

saying Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has wiped
away their tears, having kept his campaign
promises.
Speaking at Ikem and Nkwo Nike during the
inauguration of newly-elected PDP executives in
Isi-Uzo and Enugu East Local Government areas,
respectively, state Chairman of PDP, Mr.
Augustine Nnamani, praised the efforts of the
state government, saying the governor’s
unprecedented developmental strides and peace
initiatives had made the repositioning process of
the party easy.
Nnamani noted that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi
had kept his campaign promises to the people
through massive roads construction with
drainage, brand new classroom blocks for public
schools as well as other infrastructure,
especially in the rural areas.
The party chairman enjoined the newly-
inaugurated party executives to remain steadfast
and deploy their effort to mobilise and sensitise
the people at the grassroots on the good works
of the governor ahead of 2019 elections.
He said: “In Enugu, we do not have need for
another party because the governor has put
smiles on the faces of the people. We believe in
what we see; nobody will bring propaganda here
because the government is doing well.”
In their various speeches, the council chairmen
of the two local governments, Benjamin Edoga,
Isi-uzo and Prince Cornelius Nnaji, Enugu East,
praised the development efforts of Governor
Ugwuanyi.
